The Tombstone of the American Empire

Dying nations are defined in part by their ability to delude themselves. The Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania is a case in point. Americans will do anything to deny the reality that they are at war with Islam.

In his book The Great Derangement, Matt Taibbi described how, when the revolutionaries broke into the Czar’s palace during the Russian Revolution, they were shocked to find tarot cards, crystal balls and other mystical objects strewn about. The Russian nobility could not face the reality that their nation was collapsing around them, so they withdrew into astrology and other occult hobbies in hopes of conjuring up a path out of the mess they had created.

America and the West in general—or at least the Left—is in the same situation. On September 11, 2001, America was attacked by Muslims who explicitly stated they wanted to destroy our nation, that our very existence was an affront to their god. Ever since that day, Leftists have refused to acknowledge this reality, whether it’s by trying to blame all religion (“There are extremist Christians too!”), blaming American “imperialism” (which explains why France, Germany and other White countries have also been targeted), outright lying (the “religion of peace” nonsense), or burying their heads in the sand.

The problem with this is that Leftists run the government and are in charge of writing our national history, which includes the monuments to September 11. I saw this when I visited the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, Pennsylvania earlier this week. The Memorial commemorates the passengers and crew of Flight 93, who overpowered their hijackers and forced the plane to crash in nearby Shanksville instead of the Capitol, its intended target. By any objective measure, they’re heroes, and their sacrifice saved countless lives on what was the deadliest act of war to ever occur on American soil.

But you wouldn’t know it by going to the Flight 93 memorial. In the funhouse reality of political correctness, 9/11 wasn’t a deliberate attack by Muslims: it was a natural disaster, something that just sort of happened. There are no villains to demonize, no heroes to lionize and certainly no enemy that we need to rally to defeat. There’s just the weepy sentimentality that follows an act of God tearing through your neighborhood.

I should have expected this. Three years ago, I swung by the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in downtown Manhattan, commemorating where the Twin Towers used to stand. The Museum itself wasn’t even open yet: despite being more than twelve years after the attack, the only portions that were open were the North and South Pools and a pair of gift shops. Similarly, the Flight 93 National Memorial wasn’t completed until a day short of the ten-year anniversary of 9/11. It’s another sign of our decline that the nation that built the world’s tallest building in just over a year now takes a decade to construct a pair of concrete bunkers.

And yes, that’s what the Memorial amounts to: two ugly grey structures overlooking the gulley where the plane went down. Both are reminiscent of 1970’s brutalist architecture, that mercifully brief era where governments designed their buildings as hideously as possible in order to mock the plebs. One of the bunkers is the Visitor Center, which features a small museum about the attack and a gift shop; the other is called the “Learning Center” and consists of a pair of bathrooms. Both of them are in disrepair, with the Learning Center’s lettering outright missing from the front entrance.

From the Visitor Center, you can get a good look at the crash site before taking one of two trails down to the actual memorial, which is a giant concrete crescent wall with a couple of booths near the end. The actual crash site is closed to the public, but it’s marked with a sandstone boulder that is visible from both the overlook and the Memorial Plaza. One end of the wall is inscribed with the names of Flight 93’s passengers and crew, with indents along the middle portion where tourists can leave mementos. In one of the shacks on the far end, you can scribble little notes and leave them on a bulletin board.

What struck me throughout the entire experience was how carefully the designers avoided mentioning the people who actually hijacked Flight 93. The plaque at the Learning Center makes reference to how “[f]our commercial airliners were hijacked on September, 11, 2001,” as if those planes somehow changed course and crashed into those buildings all on their own. The terrorists are obliquely referred to as being members of al-Qaeda, but zero reference is made to their religion or the fact that said religion was their primary motivation for murdering over 3,000 Americans.

This is why the West is dying. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, Americans didn’t wring their hands and pretend that those Kate bombers piloted themselves over Honolulu; they declared war, kicked the Japanese in the teeth, cut their balls off and threw them into the Pacific. The emotions evoked by the 9/11 memorials in Stoystown and Manhattan don’t include patriotism or a desire for vengeance: they evoke moping and whining. “Oh gosh, thousands of people died for… reasons. Let’s have a big group hug and lie to ourselves about how 9/11 brought us together as a nation.”

The other striking thing about the Flight 93 National Memorial was how poorly maintained it was. In addition to the Learning and Visitor Centers falling apart, the trails connecting them to the Memorial Plaza are overgrown with weeds. A plaque near the bottom claims this is by design, claiming that the Memorial is “living,” which to me sounds like code for “We’re too cheap to pay someone to run the weed whacker.” The infantile conception of nature—allowing plants to reclaim a man-made space—further illustrates that Western civilization has lost its will to exist.

And if the weekly ISIS attacks in Europe and America are anything to go by, beating Leftists with baseball bats does not make them smarter. Even as Muslims scream “ALLAH AKBAR!” as they open fire inside gay nightclubs or drive trucks into crowds of drunk revelers, the Left continues to blame gun ownership, Christianity, Donald Trump, “homophobia” or a million other made-up maladies. If they get their way, in fifty years people will probably think that Right-wing White males were behind 9/11, much in the same way that the South’s “dark history” and “hate” was blamed for a card-carrying Communist’s assassination of John F. Kennedy.

God bless America. Land of the cowardly, home of the slave.

I think Paul Kersey is right. America is irredeemable.

Mammonism and Bolshevism are Jewish stepsisters… The Golden Calf has grown up to be a hollow Bronze Bull…

You don’t believe all men are redeemable through Christ? Jews deny Christ, they are anti-Christ… All the Jews in the American government want open borders and to disarm everyone.

jewish mammonism = baphomet = mahomet = muslim brotherhood = same devil

  • Having been to the 9/11 memorial, I can confirm everything Matt says about it. And honestly, I don’t think I was the only person there who spent most of it facepalming and muttering “This fucking country…”

I think the overgrown beds and weedy paths have more to do with reducing the use of fossil fuels, we are told the world is being ruined one weed-wacker at a time. It’s also a reason for flowered fields along road ways.

  • Muslims are not the main threat to America.

Also, Islam isn’t mentioned because imperialism needs a human mask.

An imperialist power has to show a HUMAN FACE to justify its aggression and ambition.

If it just seeks power and domination, it looks like bully and bad guy. Also, it is met with stiffer resistance.

So, just like Spanish Empire spoke of spreading Christianity, British Empire spoke of White Man’s Burden, Japanese Empire spoke of saving Asians from the Western imperialists, and French Empire spoke of sharing the fruit of French culture, the American Empire must put a human face to its overseas ventures. ‘Human rights’ and ‘humanitarianism’ are often tools of empire.

Now, we mustn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. The idea of Human Rights and the work of Humanitarianism are often worthy and good. But even good things can be invoked and appropriated by the power-hungry to expand dominance.

In a way, the Assyrian Empire, Mongol Empire, Viking Empire, and Nazi Empire were most honest(their only saving grace).

Assyrians just liked to kick butt. Mongols love to pillage and rape. Vikings loved to loot and rampage. Nazis made no bones about how they are gonna turn Russians into slaves or dead bodies.

But such aggression has no moral justification. It can only rule by fear and intimidation. And it arouses much resentment and hostility among the victims and conquered. They dream of liberation and freedom and revenge.

US empire is now ruled by Jewish globalists and their homo agents. And Jews want dominance in the Great Game of the whole Near East. Jews are for Israel but also globalist dominance. While Israel is dear to Jews, Jewish Power is truly global and spread all over the world. And to maintain this dominance, Jews feel a need to dominate the Middle East. And it does this by making allies with nations like Saudi Arabia and by trying to wreck Iranian power(which is on hold because Jews see Russia as the main threat. Not because Putin hates Jews — he doesn’t, and if anything, he likes them too much — , but because the Russian model of national sovereignty in a gentile nation is threatening to Jews). Trump too loves Jews, but his support among white Americans who want national independence from (((globalism))) deeps worries Jews.

Anyway, there is a ‘war of power blocs’ — closer to the truth than ‘war of civilizations’ — , and Jewish-Homo-controlled US doesn’t want to create the impression in the Middle East and North Africa that US is at war with Islam.

(If it’s a Clash of Civilizations, how come US gets along with theocratic Saudi Arabia but is at war with secular modern Arabs like Assad? Aren’t secular Arabs closer to the Western model?)

If US gave such impression(of clash of civilizations) — as Trump seems to do —, it means it will be much more difficult for nations like Saudi Arabia to work with the US. The home of Mecca as partner of a nation that sees Islam as enemy? Saudi family will lose its reputation in the Muslim world. It will lose legitimacy. Also, if US made such a hostile claim about Islam, then Muslims will say US should get out of Middle East. And that would mean loss of US influence in the Middle East. US can only intervene in the Middle East and North Africa by yammering about ‘human rights’. Also by yammering about ‘war on terror’ even though US actions seem to favor terrorists at war with modernizing secular Arab/Muslim nations.

US can also enter the Middle East in the role of victim. This was why 9/11 was a blessing. It made US the victim, so US could do WHATEVER IT WANTED to ‘get even’. After 9/11, US could threaten Pakistan with bombing-back-to-stone-age, drop Daisy bombs on Afghanistan, and invade and destroy Iraq.

When that excuse got lame, Obama used Arab Spring excuse and made a mess of Libya and Syria in the name of ‘human rights’. US had to protect Arab Springers in Libya from Gadaffi, and US had to support ‘moderate rebels’ against tyrant Assad. Of course, Jewish-Homo-controlled US was just using those as excuse to bring down modern secular Arab leaders who are not whores to the US. It didn’t do Gaddafi any good to give up WMD and make a deal with the West. As long as he maintained national sovereignty and did things his way, he had to be taken out too.

US killed 2 million in Dinh’s nation. How could US could get away with such mass killing? By making noises about how South Vietnam are friends of the US. About how the US involvement is a humanitarian mission against communist barbarians. US has to justify its semi-imperialist war by posing as a humanitarian friend of South Vietnam. Granted, US was right about commie barbarism, but US was wrong to have divided the nation in the first place.

Not entirely… While Leon Puñettas was so busy with gay pride celebrations at the Pentagon, three Navy Seals and a U.S. ambassador were murdered, all because everyone was being so fúcking gay… boko haram = hómo barak

When the Iron Curtain came down the Bolsheviks all fled to the other side because they knew what the Russians would do to them after 100 years of communism. The best thing about Russia getting Crimea back… Catherine the Great took it from the Turks… What happened right after Russia retook Crimea? The Russian FSB searched all the Turks living there… Why? Because NATO sponsors Islamist terrorism when it suits them to.

NATO is an illegitimate occupier of the German Fatherland and the only reason European nations have no standing armies… because the minute they arm the white majority, the Zíonist crowned heads will fall… AND then we can have another “night of long knives.” (Pardon the swastika, I’m kind of sentimental that way.)

The banksters need a war desperately right now. They’ve tried so hard in Syria and it just hasn’t worked. Now they’ve got crazy Trump actually saying we should stay out of the Middle East and focus on our own problems, and people are listening… What’s a self-respecting globalist financier to do?

Without the US military killing people and breaking things, there is no future growth path for them. So they send their puppets like Kasich and Romney out to talk up the fight against “evil” and threaten Russia and China, hoping to fool those dumb white ‘Murkins one more time into sending their sons off to die for God and Country and Goldman Sachs.

The IMF is in bed with the Turks, Saudis, and NATO, they are worried about a Trump audit of the Federal Reserve… and about Trump and Putin teaming up to destroy them once and for all… Trump is a vote for peace, and peace does not make money for the weapon industry. The pseudo secular media and their globalist masters profit from destabilization.

Retaining control of US foreign policy is what drives Hillary’s flying monkeys… along with the millions Goldman Sachs and the Saudis have paid her.

I’ve been to the Flight 93 memorial and I agree it is lacking. My hope is that those who commit to that long trip off any main highway, like you and I, know exactly what happened and who did it.

I walked that trail and tried to imagine the courage those passengers had to retake the cockpit. I paid tribute to them even if the politically-correct bureaucrats in our memorial-building agency did not.

    • islamisrael = israelislam

You know exactly who did it? Really?
